Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2012, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch LADE. We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits.

My Story
The Founder, a mother and wife of 35 years, also a grandmother and now a proud great-grandmother of two, has chosen a career as a Quality Specialist in the automotive industry for over two decades. Her vision to start a nonprofit organization took root in 2012 during her time as an active volunteer with Detroit's 300, where she assisted in apprehending an individual causing harm in the community, particularly to women and teenage girls.
Stephanee has also spent several years as a board member of Mothers of Murdered Children (M.O.M.C) assisting in a call on Congress to declare " national health crisis" in response to the alarming number of inner-city teens and young men murdered. The resolution recognized and honored the organization by declaring June 6th a day of peace and justice in the city of Detroit.
